Do not spend your days thinking of how to better yourself. Do not waste your thoughts on what you can do to increase your love for people. Do not let guilt set in upon your heart if you make a mistake.
All you must do is simply pursue.
Pursue Him with every cell in your body. Sit with Him and nobody else. Establish a secret place in the physical realm by getting away and shutting the door behind you. Eventually your secret place with Jesus will be established in the depths of your heart. Then you will feel at home no matter where you are because His Presence will be with you in your heart and you can then release it in a new and unfamiliar place.
When you stare into the face of Love, you will become love. You will become like the One you set your eyes upon. You will become better, you will love people without trying and mistakes will be replaced by grace and obedience.
That’s the beauty of a relationship with the Living God and real Christianity. You don’t have to try…you just have to seek your Father in Heaven. You just have to submit and yield and pretty soon you’ll be walking in the fullness of who God created you to be, a heavenly being who shines the glory of God Himself. All this without any effort of your own.
He longs for you, not in a way that is empty either. He literally looks at you everyday and shouts out in the heavens, “That’s my son!!!! I made HIM! That’s my daughter!!! I made HER! Do you see him angels?! He is my mighty warrior, I can’t contain my love for him! I can’t wait till he looks to me to receive all the power and goodness I have set aside for him! Do you see her angels?! She is my radiant princess!!! I want her with me at all times! I am desperate to love her like she’s never been loved! I can’t help but sing and dance over her!”
Just sit with Him…and talk with Him. Be completely honest with Him, He already knows everything about you down to your doubts that He will answer you.
